The extra is the vote, not a longer essay. 2–3 candidate Chinese names go to the Chinese audience; posting them to Douyin / Xiaohongshu needs a 3–7 day window. A sample votes from a ~200K pool — we do not claim 200,000 ballots.

  • Audience-vote report PDF: the five NFIP questions with actual counts / split — first look, gender, era, homophone, classmate. No collapsed fake score.

Why this page exists

People who type “get a native Chinese name” should not be handed a generator. People who already have characters should not hit a waitlist. Splitting this studio from the checker keeps those intents from contaminating each other.

“Native” here means a real Chinese surname in first position, a given name of one or two characters people actually use, and a first impression that does not require a footnote.
